This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly and growing team in the Financial Services sector. This is a part time role to start ASAP working 3 full days a week, to be based on site in Hitchin (parking is available). The client are looking for someone ideally with a background in working within Financial Services, with previous administrative experience particularly within diary management, as well as someone with some accounting accumen.

Client Details

The client is a growing Financial Services firm who due to recent growth is looking for a Part Time PA/ Admin/ Bookkeeper.

The role is 3 days a week to start ASAP, based in Hitchin. The duties will be split between 1/3 Bookkeeping, and 2/3 Administrative duties. Candidates must be comfortable using Excel Spreadsheets and ideally have some experience within Accounts as well as demonstratable administration experience.


  • Bank reconciliation
  • VAT returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Diary and travel management
  • Arranging meetings for clients
  • Preparing documentation for new clients
  • Inbox management
  • Booking review meetings
  • General administrative duties


  • Able to work part time hours (3 days per week, 9am - 5pm)
  • Live locally to Hitchin
  • Experience in either bookkeeping or PA/ Administration roles ideally within Financial Services or Banking
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
