Part Time Payroll manager

This well-respected insurance company is looking to hire a flexible, part-time experienced payroll accountant for 2 days per week. (based remotely and/or office). The role will be to take full responsibility for their UK payroll including:

  • Preparation and submission the monthly input to the outsourced payroll service provider
  • Reconciliation of output to payroll spreadsheet
  • Liaison with HR and the business in relation to accuracy of payroll input
  • Prepare annual tax returns including P11d and PSA
  • Preparation of director's annual emolument certificates
  • Assist with stock equity administration
  • Submission of monthly pension details to the DC pension provider
  • Working closely with the wider finance team on accounting entries and preparation of summaries and analysis of payroll data
  • Resolving employee queries

Candidates should be experienced with a minimum of 5 years' experience at a small - medium company, able to take ownership of the payroll. Full understanding of payroll and pension systems required along with fantastic Excel skills
