Our client is a very well-established Firm of Accountants seeking to appoint an addition member of staff due to continued and sustained growth.
The role will be varied and the successful candidate will be undertaking a range of bookkeeping duties for a mixed client base. Duties could typically include ledger work, the preparation and submission of timely VAT returns for different clients, handling CIS work and also preparing timely monthly management accounts for companies. The primary software system used will be Sage, so candidates should have recent experience of working with this package.
Previous experience of working in a Firm of Accountants or a Bookkeeping Bureau is not essential (whilst it may be an advantage), but you should be a strong double-entry bookkeeper with previous experience of preparing monthly management accounts.
The hours will be between 20 and 25 per week, with some flexibility of how they are split.
