Part time Temporary HR Advisor

Are you an immediately available proven HR professional looking to work for a membership body? 

We have partnered with a Central London membership body, who are looking for a part time temporary HR Advisor for 4 months in the first instance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a broad range of generalist HR support and administration within a designated part of the organisation. It is essential to be experienced in both written and verbal communication, who have the ability to engage with a range of different people and work effectively within a team.

The role is offered as a remote working (please note with ever changing government guidelines, this could be subject to chage. The role is working 3-4 days per week, temporary role (36.25 hours per week) and will pay between £13.80 to £15.00 per hour (dependent on relevant work experience) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting employees by responding to HR related queries and as necessary escalate to appropriate HR colleagues.
  • Update and maintain HR files and case management systems in order to provide accurate records and high-level service in line with GDPR.
  • Provide timely processing and production of all HR and payroll letters including Contracts of Employment, Occupational health referrals, purchase orders and standard letters.
  • Produce monthly payroll data and ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll and support the resolution and escalation of payroll queries.
  • Liaise with HR Resourcing and L&OD to provide support as appropriate in order to offer a co-ordinated service delivery, including employee engagement, across the directorate and wider
  • Support all people managers in their responsibilities of employee lifecycle including recruitment, induction, probation, low level performance management, exit and as necessary workforce planning.
  • Review, analyse and monitor Management Information for all HR activity in order to identify trends, report and contribute to supporting ERA, HRRM and People Mangers.
  • Provide meeting planning, notes and minutes in order to provide accurate records of discussion and decisions taken.
  • Provide administrative support and representation for HR associated project work and initiatives
  • The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or studying towards.
