Jacobs has secured multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the Water and Natural Environment Sector. We need a range of skills to deliver these fantastic opportunities and are therefore recruiting Intermediate Engineers who are looking to continue growing their careers in the Water and Natural Environment sector. You will join our team of over 1,000 Water and Natural Environment Professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects and become a part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You will be delivering project tasks, designs and working with Clients on the flood risk, surface water, water network or wastewater collection projects at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.

You will have worked within multi-disciplinary teams having co-ordinated and supported Junior Staff. You will be proactive and happy to take ownership of Client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business. We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who enjoy working as part of a large multi-national consultancy. As we move to a more flexible working arrangement, we require our staff to be similarly adaptable, agile and flexible in their approach to working.

  • BEng/MEng Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: river engineering flood risk management hydraulics and water conveyance hydrology and hydraulic modelling surface water management and drainage water / sewerage treatment network / pipeline design
  • Chartered status or approaching Chartered Status with recognised Professional Institution
  • Desirable:

  • Project Management experience
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Flexible to travel
