Payroll and Accounts Manager - Approximately 30 hours per week

Near Wareham , Dorset

We are helping to recruit an experienced Payroll and Accounts professional for a local business whom specialise in Haulage and plant hire. Ideally, you will be based locally as the role is office based - social distanced and Covid safe,

This role will suit someone who wishes to seek part time hours and it will be paid on an hourly rate whilst receiving other benefits of being on the payroll - Pension and statutory holiday. The role will report to the Managing Directors.

Key duties

Payroll Element

Preparing and processing weekly payroll, including sub-contractor payments

Process furlough claims, calculate holiday entitlement and manage statutory pay including SSP and SMP

Dealing with payroll queries relating to PAYE, NIC and holiday pay

Dealing with HMRC queries and Monthly/Weekly reporting.

Maintaining relevant payroll files, including employment contracts and HR Queries

Preparing BACS payments

End of Year reports P60etc.

Pension calculations and reconciliations.

Finance Element

Daily dealing with Credit Control and Creditors payments.

Posting and reconciliation of Cash Book, reporting daily to MD

Monthly management accounts, analysis and reports.

Cash management, credit control and creditors payments.

Statutory accounts and liaising with accountants on year end processes.

Maintaining fixed asset registers.

Adhoc work as required by Managing Director.

Salary £15.00 Per Hour- Negotiable
