About the role
This is a key role within our internal People Technologies & Transformation team. This is a newly formed team and this role sits within the People Data & Insights Transformation Team.
We are looking for an experienced Manager to work across our People Teams to drive efficiencies, remove duplication and build new tools to drive greater insights.
The majority of the work in this role is analytical and data orientated, but will also require strong relationship building skills and some stakeholder management.
Reporting into the People Data & Insights Transformation Leader, this role will entail (non-exhaustive list):
Working with People Teams (HC, Resourcing, L&D etc) to understand reporting requirements, challenge and drive efficiencies in reporting & insights
Working with the UK IT Data Intelligence team to drive efficiencies and improve current offering based on consolidated feedback from people team stakeholders
Supporting current people teams reporting and insights platforms and provide solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency
Building effective solutions using a range of data transformation/analytic tools in response to stakeholder feedback
Working closely with the Risk, Compliance & Data Management Team Leader to ensure teams, and current and new solutions are aligned and compliant with regulations
Driving the consolidation of reporting, insights and dashboards across people teams
Driving the consolidation of data and reporting to allow more strategic decisions to be made across the people teams
Reducing the amount of time spent on reporting and insights by people teams by utilising SMEs, driving efficiencies and reducing duplication
Working with the People Data & Insights Transformation Leader to drive the wider agenda across the people teams
Supporting and providing advice to the wider People Transformation & Technology team
- Upskilling junior members of staff in data transformation/analytic tool
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive experience with data transformation tools (e.g. Alteryx) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau);
Previous analytical experience
The ability to review and critically assess processes, working with colleagues to drive change;
The ability to work effectively in the face of pressure and not compromise professional standards;
The ability to work within a team and establish strong working relationships with other teams;
Strong communication skills – particularly the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and articulate resolutions with clarity
A customer-focused mindset;
Passion for change and innovation; and
Passionate about technology and taking personal responsibility to stay on top of new developments.
Knowledge of MicroStrategy in addition to the above tools
Knowledge of GDRP and Compliance regulations
Knowledge of existing People Teams including current reports and insights would be advantageous
Strong ability to work in a virtual environment, using Google Hangout/Meet and other tools at your disposal to maintain contact with other team member
