The role:

We now have a vacancy for an experienced, qualified Adjuster to join our London and South-East Private Clients team. The team works for a large number of market leading and specialist insurers and focus mainly on domestic HNW, MNW and technical claims.  It is expected that you will quickly become a key member of that team undertaking a broad range of adjusting instructions including major and complex losses and some commercial work.  The position can be home or office based but you will be equipped to work remotely too. Full admin support will be provided. 

The geographical operating area will include South London, Surrey and Sussex but the role will involve travel elsewhere in the UK and occasionally abroad.  A company car or car allowance is included.

You will have/will be:

  • Chartered status CILA or CII, or close to qualification

  • Preferably educated to degree level

  • Experience of handling major and complex losses

  • Previous HNW experience

  • Ability to manage own caseload, meet targets and service standards

  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

  • IT proficient

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Good building and construction knowledge would be an advantage.
