Programme Manager

6 month FTC

Remote/London based

Insurance experience preferred

Our client, a large Insurance organisation is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join the team for an immediate start.

There is a need to have an experienced Finance Change Programme Manager with significant prior experience of working on finance reporting driven change programmes and must understand actuarial modelling, data quality and finance systems in general. Additionally, they must have the ability and the gravitas to act on behalf of the CFO/COO as their change lead to drive this activity forwards. Key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Scope, plan, budget and deliver the IFRS Change Programme

  • Communicate progress across the Programme team and legal entity counterparts within the organisation.

  • Understand and map all key dependencies centrally to the Portfolio Office

  • Drive the programme to a successful conclusion, understanding the business outcomes required to succeed

Essential skills:

  • 5+ years of programme management experience covering a mix of business and organisational change

  • Past experience in managing finance change programmes

  • Experience of delivering complex multi-tiered programmes with stakeholders who have limited time to assist

  • Conflict resolution

  • Understanding of end to end finance business process and reporting requirements

  • Full understanding of the IRFS 17 requirements and associated impacts

  • Insurance background is preferred
