L&Q is currently recruiting to a senior role with our London Operations team. Based on site you will take responsilibity for project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed for a high profile multi-phase & multi-story residential development.
Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
Ensure project documents are complete.
Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
Serve as a key link with the stakeholders and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto relevant stakeholders.
Promote a culture that supports the L&Q values.
Effectively manage all functions realated to programming, construction, design & technical and commercial activities.
Ensure the PC is in line with the agreed programme and to the required completeness & quality.
Provide quality & accurate reports for the London Operations Director.
Provide a disciplined and reasoned approach to safety, quality and project delivery.
You will have exceptional leadership skills and be able to evidence experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders including sub-contractors, clients and residents.
It is essential that you have relevant previous residential experience working for a tier 1 contractor or volume housebuilder and able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar role managing a major complex project involving muti disciplined site teams. Strong leadership skills are essential.
