The administrative roles will form a significant proportion of the Departments professional administrative structure supporting the entire body of students, applicants, academic colleagues and external contacts.

Main duties:

  • Supporting the Departments examination procedures and processes.

  • Supporting the Departments timetabling procedures and processes.

  • Supporting the Departments systems, including monitoring, managing and maintaining internal systems, with the Departments systems developer.

  • Supporting the Departmental Committees, including taking minutes.

  • Supporting the Departments Undergraduate and Postgraduate programme directors to enable smooth delivery of taught programmes.

  • Supporting the day to day running of the Department.

  • Act as an initial point of contact for issues and problems, addressing and resolving them where appropriate in order to provide effective support and problem resolution or identifying where issues need to be escalated.

  • To form strong working relationships will all colleagues, specifically central administration to monitor and improve administrative procedures.

  • In addition, you will be required to undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required.

  • Ensure that you are aware of and aligned with Goldsmiths’ Regulations, Strategy, and Objectives to work together to proactively advance Equality and Diversity

  • At all times to help maintain a safe working environment by participating in training as necessary and following the Goldsmiths’ Health and Safety Codes of Practice and Policy
