TalentPool is a machine learning based talent matching platform, connecting candidates with UK SMEs. With over 90,000 members from 20+ countries and trusted by 750+ companies, we are now the leading connector of startups, agencies and boutiques with recent graduates and early career professionals (0-5 years experience) in the UK.
As of April 2019, TalentPool has been awarded one of five places on the MSTAR3 public sector framework for ‘talent pool technology’. We are now seeking to capitalise on this major (our lot is estimated to be worth £400m) opportunity to bring our advanced matching technology to the public sector. Under this framework, we are able to serve the full range of public sector bodies, from Local Authorities to the NHS and Central Government.
As a business with a strong track record in delivering talent matching for the private sector, but no public sector experience, we are now building a new team from scratch. This will be led by a senior individual who will be supported by a number of people experienced in this space, who will advise the management team, push forward opportunities themselves, work on tender responses and represent TalentPool to the public sector at large. We operate a flat structure so it is entirely possible that the full-time team lead will be less experienced than those around them who are part-time.
As such, we’re looking for an individual experienced in the world of public sector recruitment tendering, ideally with specific MSTAR1/2 or temporary resourcing experience. Very possibly, you will have previously worked for a major MSP or Neutral Vendor. However, if you feel you have experience which would position you well to add value, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
TalentPool is an enthusiastic and successful employer of mothers through 2to3days.com. We now employ six mothers in part-time roles, all working principally from home but coming into the office from time to time to check in with the full-time team. We understand that flexibility is essential for those juggling domestic and professional responsibilities and we always to build roles around this principle. We do this because we know that the best results are invariably achieved by a happy team.
Having doubled in size over the past 12 months and with further expansion underway, we are now a team of 20 across 2 offices worldwide.
This role will be principally based at home, although we will ask you to come into the office from time to time and naturally, with the MSTAR3 framework being national, you may well find yourself travelling for meetings.
This is not yet a defined role and as such we are not specifying Responsibilities and Requirements for this position. This is more an invitation to get in touch for a conversation if you think you have experience and/or skills which could be valuable to us as we enter this new market.
Naturally, compensation is yet to be defined, but we always pay competitively.
