This is an in house recruitment opportunity, working with a recruitment team, which are part of the wider Human Resources (HR) team. The Recruiter builds relationships with hiring managers across the business and is responsible for advertising vacancies, reviewing candidate applications, screening candidates and sourcing candidates from job boards and LinkedIn.
The Recruiters are part of the HR team and we have close contact with a team of HR advisors, HR administrators and a small Training team. The team has a base office of Becket House, Worthing but are also working remotely much of the time.
The overall HR have a friendly working environment with great collaboration and fun activities planned throughout the year.
Base location for the team is Becket House, Littlehampton Road Worthing. You will be equipped with a company laptop and be able to work from home much of the time, attending our Worthing office when required for meetings. There is a requirement to travel occasionally ( a few times a year) to meet with head office and branch staff, as part of your relationship building with hiring managers and gaining a greater understanding of the business.
This role is currently available as a part time opportunity 20 hours per week. Some flexibility can be offered on the working pattern as long as it is within our core hours of 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday. Weekend working is not required.
We do also embrace flexi time with prior approval such that you can on an ad-hoc basis occasionally amend your start or finish time, as long as it fits with business needs.
Key Responsibilities Attract top talent to LRG, engage, interview and act as a brand champion. Promote recruitment best practice, initiate new ways of working to improve processes and deliver an excellent recruitment service to Hiring Manager and Candidates Support and deliver timely and effective recruitment solutions in accordance with the group recruitment needs Partner with Hiring Mangers to be a trusted advisor. Understand Recruitment requirements, provide advice and guidance to managers and proactively source candidates. Agree a recruitment schedule, set out direct sourcing activity, Interviews and timelines and keep hiring managers well updated on challenges and progress. Responsible for raising awareness of roles through social media to drive additional applications. Develop, manage and maintain a diverse talent pipeline to meet current and future recruitment. Support Careers Events and Early Careers by representing LRG group in schools, colleges and experienced hire recruitment fairs. Effectively utilise the recruitment applicant tracking system Strive for best in class recruitment experience including video screening of candidates. Work cohesively and collaboratively with the entire HR team to ensure a professional and smooth service is provided Ensure that recruitment policies and GDPR has been adhered to, from the ‘Authority to Recruit’ process through to offer and on-boarding
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes A Level Education or equivalent or Professional Recruitment Qualifications / Experience Experience of managing the Recruitment Lifecycle Experience of managing Internal Stakeholders and Candidates expectations throughout the process – driving Recruitment Best Practice Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal and Written Confident with telephone and video interviewing. Enthusiasm to search and hunt for candidates – drive and motivation to fill vacancies. Strong interpersonal skills
