Researcher Developer - Part Time, 12 month contract, Grade 6 We have an exciting opportunity to join our Research and Innovation team. We are recruiting for an experienced Researcher Developer to contribute to the delivery of the University’s Research and Innovation Strategy and Corporate Plan on a part-time, 0.5 FTE basis. The Role Reporting to the Head of Researcher Development you will contribute to the enhancement of research and innovation activities through professional development in line with the university’s strategic goals and with sector best practice in skills training for researchers. The post holder will focus on developing research students and researchers across the University to equip them with the capabilities appropriate for research and research-related careers within academia and beyond. The role will also involve supporting research supervisors to enhance their practice through development and the sharing of practice. Who We Are Looking For As part of the Research, Innovation and Enterprise team you will be responsible for providing development activities for our research degrees students and research active staff across the university. You will be involved in the delivery of our new PgCert in Researcher Skills Development for Professional Doctorate students and will also be responsible for facilitating workshops and planning events for PGR students, staff and supervisors as part of the wider researcher development programme. You will also be working with other teams in RIE to provide training for our researchers in research funding, Knowledge exchange and Public engagement, as part of our new research strategy.
