Meanwhile, our research shapes the world around us, improving lives in Scotland and across the globe.The RoleReporting to the Head of Researcher Development you will contribute to the enhancement of research and innovation activities through professional development in line with the university’s strategic goals and with sector best practice in skills training for researchers. The post holder will focus on developing research students and researchers across the University to equip them with the capabilities appropriate for research and research-related careers within academia and beyond.

In terms of days/hours worked, we can be fairly flexible.Who We Are Looking ForAs part of the Research, Innovation and Enterprise team you will be responsible for providing development activities for our research degrees students and research active staff across the university.
You will be involved in the delivery of our new PgCert in Researcher Skills Development for Professional Doctorate students and will also be responsible for facilitating workshops and planning events for PGR students, staff and supervisors as part of the wider researcher development programme.
