At Pukka Herbs and we’re on a mission to revolutionise herbal health and wellbeing. We’re looking for a talented and experienced in-house recruiter to join our People team for a 10 to 12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for 22.5 hours per week.

About the opportunity

Day-to-day you’ll lead the resourcing requirements and talent pooling, covering permanent, fixed term, temporary and contract roles as well as supporting the People team in their wider agenda through project work. 

Reporting to the People Director and working closely with our People Manager, People Adviser and International colleagues you’ll manage the recruitment process and administration for each role from initial brief, to approval right through to offer and onboarding. You’ll create engaging job adverts for bespoke job roles, decide and coordinate sourcing strategies, support with shortlisting of applications, lead skype video interviews and organise and support face to face interview stages. We’re a fast-paced company and have an agile approach to working, so you’ll regularly be involved in managing multiple priorities, driving forward change and communicating our essence (our employer brand). You’ll continue to concept great ideas for LinkedIn, our careers website and support our strategic business plan.

Based in our brand-new office in Keynsham, near Bristol and Bath, this is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave (10 to 12 months) working part-time, 22.5 hours per week. The role comes with a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum (pro rata), alongside a benefits package designed to nurture your wellbeing and personal development.

About You

An experienced in-house recruiter you’ll be skilled at building great relationships and delivering a seamless end-to-end in-house recruitment experience. You’ll have a creative approach to attraction and selection and the ability to train and coach managers in selection skills. A proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, you’ll thrive on collaborating at all levels and genuinely enjoy partnering with the business. Experience of using an ATS is needed as well as having good skills in PowerPoint and Excel.

Highly organised and methodical, you’ll have a good eye for detail, a flexibility to adapt and able to work on your own initiative. You’ll have the drive and enthusiasm to be part of a fast-paced challenging environment and be unflappable in the face of obstacles, using any situations to wow and exceed expectations.
