Are you an experienced lawyer who stepped away from a career in a leading city private practice?  Do you find yourself considering a return, motivated by the desire to get your career back on track, the opportunity for further personal development and, frankly, doing more rewarding work? (And a city salary!)

The Reignite Academy is a flexible, development-focused programme that helps City trained lawyers return to careers in private practice. Now in its 3rd year, the Reignite programme has successfully supported over 40 women to reignite their careers. You will join one of our member firms for a six month period of paid training, coaching and work experience in your particular area of expertise.   Part time and/or flexible working is considered for most of our roles. And the new world of work includes a mixture of home working and office working.

Eligibility

Our doors are open to people who have taken a complete break as well as those who are working but are working significantly below their potential.  You need not have trained in one of the member firms but must have trained in a leading private practice city firm.

We are looking for people who are:

  • UK trained and qualified lawyers with at least 2 years post qualification experience gained in private practice
  • Enthusiastic about reigniting their private practice law careers
  • Keen to learn and looking for further personal development opportunities
  • Ready for the next phase of their career. 

We currently have opportunities to reignite in the following areas:

Corporate Law, Employment Law, Restructuring & Insolvency,  Banking & Finance, Commercial Law, Insurance Litigation, and Funds.
