The RISE Enhancement Project, part funded by European Regional Development Fund, is designed to help Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) access graduate level talent, enabling increases in turnover, productivity and innovation within businesses across Sheffield City Region (SCR).
Evidence shows that graduates have significant impact on business turnover, productivity and introduction of new processes and products. However, SMEs often experience barriers to graduate recruitment which prevent them from accessing graduate talent. The RISE Enhancement Project is designed to remove these barriers and support SMEs to employ graduates within their business. The project will do this through activities that support the businesses to identify graduate level jobs, recruit to them and retain them in the business. The project is open to any graduate from any university, to attract the best graduate talent for the SMEs in the Sheffield City Region.
The project will also have an objective to support high tech sectors where skill shortages are often a barrier to growth.
The project is a partnership between Sheffield City Council (SCC), Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) and the University of Sheffield (UoS) and complements the Sheffield City Region (SCR) Growth Hub and Sheffield Innovation Programme (SIP) activity.
Working with the partners and employers across the Sheffield City Region, you will:
