A tenacious, results-driven sales account manager with telecoms experience is required for a super flexible position, attracting a good salary plus uncapped commission.
The full time equivalent OTE is £100k (£50k basic plus £50k commission). The basic salary will be pro rated depending on how many days a week you choose to commit to, whether that's 2, 3 or even 4 days. The hours per day could also be flexible - to succeed you'll need to research, source, nurture, negotiate and close new business and meet/exceed targets (but when you do the hours is up to you).
The prospects are a mix of new (cold) prospects, warm leads and existing customers. The sales style is a consultative approach along with nurturing relationships. The prospects tend to be CTOs, IT Directors and IT/Network Managers, so having worked in sales in telecoms and/or tech is essential. We use a range of communications methods, including cold calling, emailing, following up marketing leads by phone/email, attending meetings at prospects' sites (all over the UK, but mostly in London and the South East) and attending events (both external industry events and those hosted by TNC). You'll have to write and present your own proposals, create documents to support the contract (e.g. statement of works) and work closely with the Delivery team to ensure milestones are met and customers are delighted with our service (and come back for more!).

Our customers include Wm Morrisons Supermarkets, Sainsbury’s, Barclays Bank, Whitbread, Oxfam, Honda Europe, Mott MacDonald and Trinity Mirror.
We provide a range of services to support our customers including developing network strategies, solution design, managing effective tender processes and assisting in the negotiation of flexible network and telecomes contracts for the benefit of our customers. In addition, we offer a Telecoms Expense Management and In-Life Optimisation service to ensure clients are getting the best from their telecoms contract on an on-going basis and are paying correctly for the services they receive.
The successful candidate(s) will have:
- Upwards of 5 years’ experience in a B2B, data network sales environment, selling at a senior level using a consultative approach
- Excellent English, both spoken and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional and demonstrable sales skills
- Experience using SalesForce (CRM)
- Good IT skills, including use of LinkedIn to research and manage contacts
- Self-motivation and ability to be a proactive team player
- Good time management and personal organisational skills
