At Qlearsite, we build software that helps businesses make scientific decisions about how they engage with their most important asset: their people. For example, we have worked with organisations to understand the financial cost of stress-related sickness, discover factors associated with a high risk of workplace injury and to identify the key drivers of attrition in a business. About you

You’ve worked in one of the top 10 consultancies or challenger Consultancies and specialized in the area of HR, organisational change, employee engagement and employee well-being. With your significant experience, you are wanting to enjoy a better work-life balance whilst still being able to practice your expertise and guide the next generation of consultants.

The role

You will be Qlearsite’s senior authority for organisational science and will mentor the team who partner with HR leaders, company executives and managers to gain a detailed understanding of how their organisation works and what success looks like to their key stakeholders. In so doing, you will support client delivery by coaching and guiding the team in best practice, challenging them to gain a better understanding of their chosen field of expertise and transfer knowledge across research methodologies, analysis and presentation skills.

We are looking for someone who would prefer to work part-time (minimum 3 days per week or 3 days over 5).

The responsibilities

As the part-time Senior Consultant / Consulting Director you will:

Coach the Consultants

You will act as a coach, mentor and trainer to the next generation of Qlearsite consultants. Whether or not you have direct administrative line management responsibilities, you will be able to:

  • transfer knowledge and skills

  • create education opportunities through day-to-day work

  • set stretch goals for subject matter adoption

  • delegate and task work

  • actively communicate areas of strength and areas of opportunity for growth

Build the brand

  • developing the framework within which we speak about the challenges that our customers face

  • writing opinion pieces, thought-provoking blogs and whitepapers

  • speaking on behalf of Qlearsite at industry events

  • writing editorial content for owned media and social media

Consult with Customers

You will partner with our Customers and collaborate on solving their biggest challenges with the goal of adding value and assisting them in transforming their business.  Consulting services are provided to our clients to ensure they can get the most out of their investment in Qlearsite’s technology. A typical consulting delivery will involve:

  • identifying and prioritising the biggest challenges they face

  • conducting research and client workshops to develop strategic approaches and solutions to help solve the challenges

  • designing and delivering a strategy to gather data, produce relevant reports and deliver insight

  • quantifying and providing accurate results with understandable insight

  • drafting, publishing and presenting findings back to senior stakeholders

  • advising on changes and recommendations to their organisation that could help solve the challenges they face

Necessary skills and experience

  • 7-10  years experience as a consultant within HR / employee engagement

  • Experience of pitching and presenting to senior leadership

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Superior presentation skills relying on powerpoint and data analysis within software tools and  excel

  • Led teams of junior consultants
