Senior HR Advisor - Part Time

We have a brand new opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our dedicated and caring team at an exciting time for Gallagher. Keen to go above and beyond, ensuring HR best practice and full customer satisfaction. This an agile role with travel required to Chelmsford and London. This role is key in supporting the wider HR function to achieve strategic objectives and thriving in a fast paced environment with ever changing priorities. Responsible for supporting your business division on general HR issues such as: case management; compensation; recruitment; relocation; diversity; training and organisational development. Are you ready for the challenge? Your Role: Develop effective working relationships through the provision of timely advice and knowledgeProvide expert HR advice to deliver the best outcome by influencing and challenging managersProvide coaching and mentoring to line managers, help them to improve management capability and enable them to self-serveWork in partnership with the Heads of HR and HR Business Partners to deliver strategic business goalsProvide telephone and face to face advice to managers on all HR matters: disciplinary and grievance; absence and capability performance management; maternity; paternity and adoption leaveUK travel to other Company offices as requiredStay on top of developments in employment legislation and human resources, sharing knowledge to ensure continuous improvementYour Skills, Experience and Qualifications: CIPD qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience, ideally within a financial services environment. Educated to degree level standard or equivalent with High level knowledge of employment law and sound knowledge of HR policies. Ability to use Oracle or similar HR systemsEMEA experience desirableProven track record of managing multiple employee relationsExperience of resolving employee relations issues that present a risk to the organisation, instructing or influencing those leading on the issue on the appropriate approachHappy in a fast moving complex environment, delivering service perfection and dealing with difficult situations quality service to customersAbility to make effective decisions in the absence of complete information, ensuring things can move forward while further analysis is conductedExcellent communication skills with outstanding emotional intelligence and engagement to gain trust quicklyAbility to build strong working relationshipsAbility to adapt to evolving prioritiesA problem-solving mind-set Strong awareness of ethics and integrity in customer focusMS office proficiencyEligible to work in the UKWhat we offer you:We want Gallagher to be the organisation that all our people are proud to be a part of and where everyone can call themselves one of our team.
