Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.
This is an exciting time to join Crisis in Scotland. The Scottish Government has taken bold action towards ending homelessness and it is crucial that we all play our part to ensure the ambition is realised. As Senior Policy Officer, you will play a key role across a range of areas that are integral to ending homelessness – including work on prevention, rapid rehousing, migrant homelessness and welfare. You will also support the development of our wider policy and influencing work.
To be successful in this role you will have solid experience of developing policy positions to support the delivery of policy, research and communications activity. The ideal candidate will have experience in writing policy reports, briefings and consultation responses, be able to analyse and deploy statistics and identify emerging themes and trends. You will also be confident with stakeholder management and able to represent the charity at external meetings.
As a member of the team you will have access to a wide range of employee benefits including:
Interest free loans to purchase a train season ticket or a bike or for a deposit to secure a tenancy
Mandatory pension scheme, with an employer contribution of 8.5%

Alongside our excellent staff benefits, we will support your ongoing development to build your skills, experience and career.
