We are looking for a part-time senior receptionist to join our vibrant team of four, reporting to our Office Manager. This role is based in Kentish Town, NW5 and would suit a busy individual, such as a return-to-work mother. This role is for 3 days per week, 7 hours per day.


  • Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner 
  • Answering the switchboard phone politely, referring enquiries to the relevant people 
  • Maintaining the professional appearance of the reception area and meeting rooms 
  • Issuing and keeping track of staff- and visitor-parking permits 
  • Managing event requests for client hospitality, including client meetings and large-scale events, graduate assessment centres, and internal networking events
  • Ensuring that food for events and meetings is ordered and delivered on time
  • Responsible for the library- purchasing new books, keeping the library tidy, updating our databases, chasing missing books
  • Handling admin team requests relating to stationery orders, handyman requests and general small-scale procurement for the office
  • Liaising with couriers; collecting and distributing post
  • Arranging recycling of IT equipment
The team
Our admin department is small and friendly, reporting to our Office Manager, you would join a vibrant team of four.
Specific skills/experience required
  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience in office management or someone with previous experience as PA or administrator, looking to return to work part-time
  • We will consider candidates with less experience who can demonstrate a solid receptionist background or similar and have a keen interest in joining our busy team
