Senior Salesforce Functional Consultants

We focus on understanding our client's challenges and developing custom solutions powered by Salesforce to transform their sales, service and marketing capabilities by exploring data and identifying trends, managing customer life cycles, strategically building and leveraging online communities, driving employee engagement and collaboration, and connecting directly with channel partners to share goals, objectives, and activities in a secure, branded location.
The role
This is a consulting role with an equal emphasis on technical delivery and strong client management. You will be the client’s primary point of contact for the scope, requirements and Salesforce solution, taking overall accountability for individual projects, delivering client solutions using the Salesforce technology set. You will be hands on both in terms of client engagement and technology implementation. You will operate across the project lifecycle from presales & discovery through to development, test and training. Responsibilities to include:
Development of client solutions
Discovery & design workshops to identify client requirements
Design of Salesforce solutions to meet client requirements
Build of Salesforce solutions using configuration
Customisation of Salesforce using Apex and Visualforce / LEX
Data migration & integration using data transfer tools
End User Training and other user adoption activity
Commercial
Supporting Presales during development of new business with new or existing clients
Producing proposals & working with Salesforce to present proposals
Review of proposals during the presales process to ensure proposal accuracy
Working with the commercial team to ensure a smooth handover in to Delivery processes
General
Participate in recruitment activities where necessary
Maintain certification in selected salesforce products
The essentials
Proven consulting experience
Demonstrable hands-on CRM technology experience
Salesforce.com certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The nice to have
Coding experience, server side (e.g. Apex, .Net, Java) and clientside (e.g. Javascript, CSS)
Majority of related experience gained in one of the following sectors
Financial Services – Retail and Commercial Banking
Financial Services – Insurance and Investment Management
Financial Services – Capital Markets
Private Sector – Energy, Utilities and Resources
Private Sector – Technology, Media and Telecommunications
Private Sector – Retail and Consumer
Private Sector – Industrial products, manufacturing and professional services
