Service Desk Analyst (Part Time)

Position description

Customer Service Experience? Enjoy IT? Looking for a change? Want to learn new skills? We are seeking someone with an interest in IT Support and strong customer service skills to provide first line IT support to our colleagues across the UK as a Service Desk Analyst – your strong customer service skills along with your IT knowledge will enable you to provide the right level of service, and we will train you to understand the technical side as needed – don’t worry some of our best advisors came to us with just a basic level of IT understanding.

How will you support us?

This is a part time role of 25 hours and is working within our in-house IT team, where you will be responsible for supporting your colleagues all across the UK with IT queries, investigating issues and achieving a high level of customer service at all times. The role operates Monday to Friday with just one half Saturday a month (but don’t worry you get an extra afternoon off that week!).

In the role as Service Desk Analyst you will;

  • Support all 1st line IT queries for all Saint Gobain employees
  • Answer calls and logging calls on our ticketing system promptly and in a professional service led manner
  • Provide an efficient and personalised support service to our customers
  • Wherever possible, resolve and close calls at the point of first contact
  • Managing customer expectations
