About the role
LV= GI Sales & Marketing team are currently expanding. Due to an exciting project and launch of one of our brand new motor insurance products – Flow, we are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our project group.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has got strong experience dealing with different customer groups. Our team is looking for a Social Media Manager who understands the communication dynamic and preferences of the younger generation and will be able to create a robust social media strategy, ensuring that it goes in line with LV’s key principles. There will also be a lot of focus on researching and analysing social media and industry trends, including spend and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
You will evolve with the role and shape it as we progress through the project phases. You will have a lot of autonomy in laying the foundations for the new social media channels and setting out the tone of voice strategy but if you are looking for additional team management responsibilities, then don’t worry! You will be able to grow your own team and ensure that they are embedded in the project.

So who are we looking for?
We are seeking a true social media expert; someone who is passionate about discovering the unknown social media channels and testing their suitability to our campaigns.
Our team operates in a very dynamic and ever changing environment so you will have a good understanding of the agile spirit of the team. There will be a lot of autonomy in the role; however you will need to have a good understanding of your stakeholder groups and company structure to be able to engage with relevant people to achieve your goals.
As you will be managing social media of a new insurance product, ideally you’ll come from financial services background; however don’t worry if you don’t have that under your belt. Our team will make sure that we’re setting up each individual for success and so relevant training will be provided.
In addition, we’re ideally looking for the below skills & experience
Degree in Marketing or Social Media (desirable)
Extensive Knowledge of Social Media Platforms
Copywriting, Content Creation
Proofreading and Editing Skills
Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Customer Service Skills
