We are looking for talented test engineers to help build great apps and services in the Sainsbury’s Supply Chain Team.  You will work closely with other technically like-minded individuals across multiple platforms and technologies to create a beautiful application ecosystem that is consistent, highly usable, and reliable and performant

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience of using Java 8 and above.  Java 11 is desirable 

  • Demonstrable experience of using Selenium 3.141.59 above

  • Demonstrable experience working with Cloud-based infrastructure(AWS)

  • Advanced understanding and experience of working within an agile software development environment

  • Advanced understanding and experience within the full software development life cycle

  • Ability to create, maintain, debug automation framework and test case

  • Demonstrable experience of creating and maintaining load tests and using load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Gatling)

  • Advanced understanding and experience of using product tracking tools (e.g. Jira)

  • Demonstrable experience with cross browser and API testing

  • Must have UI automation experience for SaaS solutions. 

  • Demonstrable experience of Behaviour / Test Driven Development (BDD, TDD)

  • Demonstrable experience to produce quality, reusable and maintainable automated tests

  • Demonstrable experience in using and setting up automated testing

  • Demonstrable experience of CI and CD, good working knowledge with using a CI system (Jenkins, GoCD, AWS)

  • Good understanding of event based Architectures, integration patterns and RESTful web services.
