This is a chance to join the Student Experience Teaching and Learning portfolio, taking on responsibility for developing and delivering innovative student-centred communications and supporting meaningful dialogue with the student body.
You will work collaboratively with academic and professional services staff, and with members of our student teams, to make sure that students get the messages they need in a way they can understand at a time that is relevant to them at their point in their academic studies. You need to be equally comfortable delivering both online and in-person presentations.
We need someone who can work with students as co-creators to design, create and implement content for our student communications platform 'MyHallam' and other communication channels. You need to understand the student academic lifecycle and be able to anticipate student information needs, as well as be imaginative about how we can respond to students' requests.
You will be comfortable working to provide connections between many different stakeholders within the university and you will be able to work collaboratively with the Students' Union, the Marketing and Communications team, and other university services. You must be confident working in a very busy environment, able to manage conflicting demands and prioritise effectively.
