Supplier Management Analyst - (Part-Time, Job-Share and Full-Time)

The opportunity:

What we’re looking for is someone who’s an agile learner, loves brokering relationships and is motivated by working collaboratively. Working with multiple Suppliers and on a wide range of contracts means you’ll be looking at mitigating risk, cost management as well as stakeholder management - your chance to shine and demonstrate your passion for customer focus and continuous improvement.

You’ll be part of a team that monitor the relationship, ongoing performance and contractual commitments of our IT Suppliers. Adding value through your existing experience gained within an IT environment or compliance/governance role, you will contribute to the development of reporting, contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure the delivery of business-aligned services.

What you can expect:

Don’t worry, we’re not looking for someone who has all the technical elements of the role and we’ll be with you every step of the way from day one. You’ll have all the support, mentoring and on the job coaching to make you an IT Supplier Manager and a key part of our team. We’ll put a visible framework in place for you from day one so you can see your development in a role clearly and know which direction you’re travelling in.

As we want the best people for the role, it’s available as part-time, job-share or full time; This is because we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. All you need to do is talk to us at an interview about the flexibility you might need. 

What we’re looking for:

Chances are you have a broad range of experience in something like Service Management, governance, compliance or contract management, maybe a high level of IT acumen and delivery focus? BUT what matters is that you’re eager to learn and are highly motivated with a drive and ability to succeed at any given task. You’re at the stage of your career where you’re resilient and positive so if things don’t always go to plan, it won’t phase you! 

You organise like a pro, with a natural drive to analyse current practices and to plan and track projects A devil for the detail, you can brief others and balance priorities in a fluid, fast-paced environment.

You know how to work to smash incredibly tight deadlines and apply sharp attention to process, detail and quality. 

Last but not least, you’re a real team player that can flex approach and know instinctively how to get the very best out of everyone!
