The Role

Due to growth within our Tax Consultancy Service Line, we now have the exciting opportunity for a Tax Consultancy Assistant Manager to join our Glasgow Office / Team.

This role will involve working alongside the existing Tax Consultancy team on a variety of projects who aspire to provide the best service to our clients.

The main elements of this role will include:

  • Ensuring preparation of bills for work done within the service line and ensuring timely sending to clients.

  • Helping our clients deal with the complexities of our tax system.

  • Offering good planning advice.

  • Providing advice which will enable our clients to reduce tax risk.

  • Assisting with the career development of the Corporate Finance Team.

  • Supporting the planning and prioritising of all relevant client work and ensuring effective workflow.

  • Ensuring full implementation of all client work in line with agreed budget and adhering to Armstrong Watson’s procedures.

The Candidate

In order to fulfil the role, we expect a candidate to be: ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • CTA qualified or hold an equivalent qualification.

  • A determined and motivated individual striving to provide an efficient service to all clients.

  • Able to comply and show understanding of relevant Standards and Procedures.

  • Knowledgeable of tax in respect of Corporate and Business tax alongside Personal tax.
