Tax Manager

A London market insurance business is looking to hire a UK Tax Manager on a part time basis. (ava 3 days a week).

Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful applicant will be responsible for all Corporation Tax, VAT, employee share schemes and PAYE schemes.

Applicants must have experience of dealing with all aspects of taxation from Corporation Tax to VAT and employment tax and share matters, experience of preparing / reviewing VAT Returns, knowledge of disclosure requirements under IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102), knowledge of Controlled Foreign Company Rules and Transfer Pricing Requirements, knowledge of Corporation Tax Relief rules in respect of Employee Share schemes is essential, experience of VAT Partial Exemption Schemes with respect of Insurance Intermediaries, experience of HMRC Approved Employee Share Schemes and HMRC PAYE Settlement Agreements and experience of PAYE on expenses and benefits-in-kind. Knowledge of IFRS / FRS accounting for Employee Share Schemes and Employee Benefit Trusts would also be advantageous.
