This exciting but established start up is seeking exceptional financial support for the next 12 months. Starting immediately, the ideal candidate will be happy to work 20 hours per week and will demonstrate a confident grasp of IFRS compliance. The team currently work to UK-GAAP regulations, but they are moving to IFRS, so if you have experience of this transition, it would be advantageous.

Supporting the Finance Manager with a variety of transactional accountancy tasks, you must be happy to turn your hand to any duties required – the team are currently extremely busy, so this willingness to get involved and work at great speed will be pivotal.

Temporary Part time Finance Professional Responsibilities

Some of your duties are likely to include:

  • Producing accurate and timely reports including monthly management accounts.
  • Supporting purchase ledger payment runs.
  • Assisting with the sales ledger and associated invoicing.
  • Credit control and cashflow analysis.
  • Nominal ledger accounting.
  • Expense processing.
  • Prepayments and accruals.
  • Month end processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • VAT returns.
  • Banking transfers.
  • Undertaking ad hoc projects to improve reporting and processes.
  • Temporary Part time Finance Professional Experience

  • To prove successful in this role, it is key that your CV illustrates working knowledge of IFRS compliance.
  • You will be a seasoned finance professional, with proven experience covering all the above duties.
  • Ideally, you will be a qualified to ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent level.
  • You must be an advanced Excel user, and should be confident with Sage ERP.
