Trainee Lab Analyst (Part-Time)

With offices strategically placed across the UK, we are a business that prides itself on developing talent.Due to expansion, continued growth and recent major contract wins, we are looking for Trainee Lab Analysts to join the team on a part-time basis in our Head Office based in Silverdale, Staffordshire. Our lab team is a close group, who back each other up and have created a hardworking and fun environment to be a part of. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a great team, and a growing company.The Trainee Lab Analyst will follow a bespoke training plan under the guidance of our Lab Training Co-ordinator. Following this extensive training, they will gain the BOHS P401 qualification, and will be able to competently identify materials that contain asbestos. They will also take responsibility for booking in samples prior to analysis, as well as fully reporting on the results.A scientific, or forensics degree is desirable, as well as experience of working in a laboratory environment or using polarised light microscopy, but not essential as full training will be delivered by our team of training experts.Flexibility is an important part of the role, as is a strong work ethic, and the ability to work individually or as part of a team is key. Great communication skills are a must, both written and verbal.
