Could you make a difference to the lives of others?
There are few part-time roles where you have the chance to make a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives. But, if you combine excellent communication skills with a desire to develop this successful charity and a talent for managing budgets, we’re offering just such an opportunity to brighten the prospects of thousands of individuals.
About the Clark Foundation
The Clark Foundation is one of three main independent grant-giving trusts associated with C & J Clark Ltd (Clarks Shoes). The Trust Manager will be responsible for all three trusts, which give over £1/2 million each year to a wide variety of charities in education, health and leisure and to past and present employees of C & J Clark Ltd for education and to help in times of crisis.
About the role
We’re looking for someone with experience at a senior level and strong leadership and organisational skills to provide effective management of the Clark Foundation and the two other trusts. As the role will involve raising awareness among potential beneficiaries and replying to grant applications, you must be a confident communicator able to engage with a wide range of people. You’ll also need to work independently with plenty of initiative and have a good head for figures, as day-to-day management will be very much down to you, acting on behalf of the trustees.
While the Clark Foundation office is situated in Street, due to the Covid-19 restrictions it is likely that, initially, you will be required to work from home, at least some of the time.
To apply for this exciting part-time role (15 hours per week, times to be agreed), please send your cv together with a covering letter by email via the button below.
The closing date for all applications is midnight Monday 17th August.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 27th August. In view of the current Covid-19 restrictions, interviews will be held via video.
