Bletchley Park (the Bletchley Park Trust’s registered charity number: 1012743) is a museum and heritage attraction open to visitors all year round. We are currently looking for an exceptional Trusts and Foundations Manager to join the Development Team during a period of parental leave cover. 

In 2012, we embarked upon an ambitious Masterplan to preserve and restore the historic site and bring our World War Two buildings back into heritage use. The first phase was completed in 2014, with Bombe Hut 11A and the Teleprinter Building following in 2018 and 2019. We are now in the final phases of fundraising for Bletchley Park’s first ever Learning and Collections Centres and brand-new Naval Codebreaking Gallery. Following this project’s completion, the next campaigns will start in 2020.

In this role, you will help finish off the current campaign for Phase Two of the Bletchley Park Masterplan, maintaining positive relationships with a large and diverse portfolio of donors and driving forward new opportunities. We are looking for an experienced, creative and talented trusts fundraiser. You must have sharp attention to detail, and have the excellent written, verbal and reporting skills necessary to attract new business, steward current donors, and coordinate the production of complex bids and budgets. We offer the opportunity to work on a unique heritage site on a range of capital and revenue projects.

The Trusts and Foundations Manager is responsible to the Director of Development. You will need to be proficient with IT and be comfortable managing routine tasks as well as project-based work enthusiastically.

Experience of handling information with discretion will be valued, as will a consistently professional approach to donor relations. Desirable skills include previous use of a database, working with income and expenditure and customer service experience.
