The equities team manages a range of developed and emerging market portfolios on behalf of retail and institutional clients to a total of around $2.8bn assets under management. The research team provides detailed bottom-up analytical support and idea generation for the portfolio managers.
We require a buy-side analyst to cover Utilities and certain elements of Industrials and Resources in the All World stock index as well as spending up to 25% working on our Responsible Investment reporting and other ESG related activities. This role will report to the head of equity. Initially we expect the new hire to build an understanding of the Utilities and other sectors and our investment process and tools (eg DCF model) by taking responsibility for specific stock reviews and also working on ESG related reporting.

- Proven interest in investment (eg must have own stock investment portfolio)
- Self-motivated and happy to work with limited direction
- Understanding of investment decision making tools (discounted cash flow and relative valuation metrics)

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
Desirable educational and professional background:
- Strong degree in maths, science or economics
- Recently qualified accountant
- Management consultant
- Investment banking associate
- Sell-side or buy-side associate analyst
