Technology and Investments (T&I) is a cross line of service team tasked with driving PwC’s ambition to be the leading technology-enabled professional services firm.Given the pace and speed of technology and innovations across PwC, our ability to embrace new technology and innovative advances and to embed this within the business is more critical than ever. Our Technology and Investments team has a number of strategic priorities aimed at ensuring we invest in the right way for the firm, accelerating our growth and meeting our clients needs. Our (T&I’s) remit to ensure we are tech-enabling the firm includes:Leading firm wide programmes that tech enable the firmAssessing & researching emerging technologies to understand their potential impact on clients and the firmIncreasing our profile and presence around technology in the marketProviding expertise in specific areas to accelerate the firms tech enablementGoverning capital investments for the firm (including in technology)

Roles and responsibilities

  • Support the running of the firm’s venture fund including  assessment of suitable ventures

  • Work with LoS leads to identify higher risk technology ventures from across the firm which could benefit from funds

  • Coordinate activities across the commercial technology team’s priority missions

  • Work with team members to create, define and populate Terms sheets and support reporting against them

  • Support venture fund leads with day to day activities

  • Manage stakeholders (CMTT) and key business contacts

  • Use data to advise on our investment decisions of the future



  • Interest in new technologies and the venture development process

  • Ability to conduct commercial due diligence and present investment recommendations

  • Prepare and deliver data-driven reviews to the senior management about progress, achievements across the portfolio of internal ventures

  • Exceptional proven organisational skills, ability to multi-task and flex to re-prioritise as needed is a must

  • Relationships (ability to collaborate, influence and engage with key stakeholders across XLoS). - The successful candidate must have a strong personal presence with the ability to swiftly establish credibility with colleagues at all levels.

  • Self starter with strong organisational skills, able to prioritise workload within a challenging environment

  • Must have a positive, can-do, pragmatic, problem-solving attitude and a flexible and adaptable mindset

  • Understanding of  venture funding and corporate venture capital an advantage but not essential
