We’re seeking a passionate developer to work within an agile development team to help design and develop our current and future web application solutions.

Working within a highly skilled, multi-functional scrum team, you will expand our platforms, implement new features, take ownership of the build and deployment pipelines and help build and improve upon a CI/CD and DevOps model to ensure we are delivering value.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to drive innovation within the development team and work with modern applications stacks and toolsets, therefore a keen interest in current good practice in delivering technology projects leveraging agile techniques and automated testing is essential.

A career in Information Technology, within our Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by building applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the implementation of technology applications and infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.


Requirements for the role
  • Experience developing solutions with Python ideally within a Django framework

  • Relational and NoSQL Database knowledge

  • Experience of Source Control (Git) and working within a CI environment

  • Knowledge of microservice architectures and REST APIs

  • Working knowledge of deploying to Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Experience developing secure applications and security tools (E.g Veracode, SonarQube)

  • Experience writing automated unit tests

  • MySQL, GCP Storage and GCP Data Store

  • Practical experience of working in an agile environment, particularly scrum

  • Javascript framework experience

  • ​Experience building and maintaining continuous deployment pipelines

  • Experience with automated test frameworks such as Selenium
